The Lingenau Nature.Museum was created in co-operation with the Lingenau Nature Park School and the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park. The habitat of many animals in the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park is presented in 12 stations. Angelika Kaufmann was an important painter and one of the first internationally recognised female artists. Due to her roots in Vorarlberg, she always had a lively connection to Schwarzenberg. The museum built for her puts her life and works centre stage and gives the town an art-historical significance that transcends borders.
With his social reform, Franz Michael Felder was strongly committed to helping people from difficult social and economic circumstances. In his time, he was the first social reformer in Vorarlberg to try to help people out of the prevailing grievances. The museum documents his life as a farmer, social reformer and man of letters.
The Werkraum Haus Andelsbuch takes up the craftsmanship of the Bregenzerwald. In many different exhibitions, workpieces and products from the workshops of the member businesses are on display as well as exhibitions on changing themes of craftsmanship and building culture. The exhibitions can be visited on Wednesdays at 11.00 am and Fridays at 5.00 pm.
The permanent exhibition in the Damüls vicarage summarises the beginning of skiing, the appropriate equipment and the manufacture of skis. The long tradition and history of skiing is presented with a historical collection of skis, photographs and exhibits. In addition to international skis, the focus is particularly on the regional development of skiing in Damüls.
